Friday 11th April – Sunday 13th April saw our Scout Section at Powburn Scout Adventure Centre for a Spring Camp.
Throughout the weekend, the Cubs had an adventure, and enjoyed themselves.
On the Friday Night, they pitched their tents, and then went for a walk in the dark along a disused Railway Track. They then walked back to Powburn, and had supper before climbing into their tents for bed. For most of our Cubs, this was their first time sleeping in a tent.
Throughout Saturday, the Cubs hiked up to Ros Castle, and along to Cateran Hole to explore and venture into the cave. Cubs then travelled back to Powburn, ready to make their evening meal – Pizza!
Sunday saw lots of adventerous activities, from Soft Archery to the Obstacle Course before heading home later that day.
